Hi Annie n Malcolm,

Well done Annie on having a certificate in what we knew she could do.
We did enjoy our stay with you again even if it was a bit wet (bloody wet), your always very welcoming, but the exit was a bit abrupt.

Cant wait to catch up on your way down south....

Adrian has finished the first 2 in the Millenium trilogy so will need to borrow the third when we see u next. We'll try and remember bring a couple to swop.

Thanks again, we love visiting.
Mi n him indoors :-)

Hello Annie and Malcolm,

You won't remember me, but me and Roger met you on the Aylesbury Canal (we were on foot with our dogs) as you were going through a lock, heading for the basin for the winter. We got chatting and you gave me your card.

We have now bought a brand new 57' semi traditional narrowboat with is currently moored at Shardlow where it is being fitted out. Although we have had a couple of holidays on hire boats, we still feel like novices, and have got a bit worried, as when we collect our boat in just over a week, we have to 'sail' along the Trent River. We have never been on a river before! Can you remember just how far it is from Sharlow to the canal heading for Leicester. Our final destination, in the interim, is Blisworth Marina on the Grand Union.

Thanks.

Love reading your blog, so well written and lovely photos.
